I have never done this before and I am not a model. Is that a problem?

Don’t worry, that is why I am here to guide you.

No one comes in knowing to pose, and everyone left with amazing pictures. My job is to make the best photos of you, yours is to have fun and relax.

Will my photos be on the internet?

No.

Your digital versions of your pictures will be available only via a private link. Your pictures will therefore not be publically accessible.

If you give me your permission, I would love to share them so others can get an idea of what to expect shooting with me. But that is only if you sign a model release, in other words you give me your written consent.

At my home, they will be stored on an external encrypted hard drive disconnected from the internet. As a result your photos are safe here, even in the unlikely case of a burglary. As a consultant in the security field, your privacy is extremely important to me.

Can I bring a friend?

Sure!

I completely understand that being photographed by a male photographer may be scary and makes you feel vulnerable. So if you don’t feel comfortable, please do bring a friend. They are more than welcome to come and watch. But do remember that the shoot is for YOU, not for them; so I will only be taking pictures of you.

However, there is one exception, do not bring anyone you are romantically involved with. Having a partner on set is a big distraction for everyone. Your significant other is more than welcome to drop you off, make sure you settle in okay, deliver flowers/lunch mid-shoot, and pick you up afterwards. They are also welcome at your final image reveal, and can help you pick albums, wall art, etc.

A male boudoir photographer? Um….

Ah yes, the elephant in the room! Some women are unsure about a male boudoir photographer, while some prefer them. There are actually quite a few benefits to having a male boudoir photographer, here are 5 reasons why.

Can I send you images that I want?

Absolutely, but let’s keep it tidy.

Please send me images that inspire you. While we do not duplicate images, we can take inspiration from them to give us direction as to what mood, style, and posing you love! This way you have one of a kind images that lines up with your vision.

I’m not sure what I want to order yet, can I decide when I see my photos?

Of course!

While I do not offer physical copies of the photo (yet), I will send you a proof version. That way you will be able to choose your favorite pictures for your complete satisfaction.

Is it mandatory to be fully naked for some pictures?

Your body, your rules!

You are the one to decide where your own limits are, and you are free to change your mind (either way) during the shoot.

How much do you edit your photos? Will this still be me?

You will always be you in the pictures.

There is no denying that I do edit my pictures, we can call this my artistic license. I may change some color tones, how dark the shadows are, how bright the highlights shine etc. However, one thing will stay for sure, you will always be you in the pictures.

I will not change the shape of your body with some editing software, that is what I consider lying. You are already beautiful the way you are, There is no point in changing that.

My policy is to not remove what would not naturally disappear withing about a few month (buttons etc). My goal is to preserve the authenticity in your portrait.

Can I get the raw images ?

I’m sorry, but no.

I never hand over raw images because I don’t want to release a semi-finished product out of my hands. Furthermore, raw images don’t yet embody the artistic vision I represent as a photographer.

What happens if I have to cancel or reschedule?

It depends.

Rescheduling is always annoying. But I understand, shit happens… If we need to reschedule, I will try to make it happen; but there are no guarantees as my personal schedule fills up pretty quickly. If you cancel at the last minute or do not show up, your booking fee is forfeited and you will need to pay again if you choose to book with me in the future.

How long does it take to receive my gallery?

It depends on how many pictures we make, but in generally I try to give you the pictures within a month.
